4. Look carefully at the forum’s user and posting guidelines. Guidelines like posting links on the messages and business being allowed to promote their products or services are very important to read. Depending on who’s monitoring the site, your posts and/or accounts can be deleted, if any of these rules are broken.
5. Promote goodwill toward your business. Promoting goodwill toward your business includes not getting into heated discussions, responding immediately to criticism of your post(s), being rude to other forum users, and offering free incentives for people who read your posts.
